Creating settings for people to make art, to connect and overcome borders.
Kabaalprojecten is founded by visual artist Clari de Waal. The changing city and the influence of its citizens in this process, brought her to the street as a place of ownership, an opportunity for equality. Aren’t the streets of everybody?
She started to create settings for people to make art, to connect, to share experiences and overcome borders. Most of the projects are developed in the context of a shared space – a library, a square, a school, a park, a bridge or staircase; places where people with different social and cultural backgrounds will encounter each other.
The community-projects are executed in collaboration with cultural -and social organizations and individual artist.
